Super eagles of nigeria must live up to expectations at the next edition of the african cup of nations (AFCON) billed for cameroon next year 2022.

The three times african champions last won the nation cup in 2013 staged in south africa with a crop of golden team that has Tournament highest goal scorer Emmanuel Emenike , then chelsea  midfield mastro john obi mikel , veteran shot stopper Vicent Enyeama etc .

Since then the super eagles have only won the bronze medal , which came in the last AFCON edition in 2019.

However , with the recent crop of players in the super eagles , all eyes are on them to make  an impact in the next edition of the african cup of nations.

The eagles of nigeria are tipped to win the tournament in cameroon and Qualify for the world cup in Qatar 2022 to restore Nigeria,s lost glory with the Exit of Flying Eagles, U-23 and the Golden Eaglets from World stage.

However the super eagles gaffer Rohr has been on a scouting tour across europe , scouting for some red hot talent to spice up the eagles team.

The super eagles of nigeria would be a team to reckon on during the next edition of the african cup of nations , as the giant of africa will be chasing their fourth Afcon trophy in cameroon.
