On 22 August 2008, Premier League club Manchester City signed Kompany from Hamburg on a four-year contract for an undisclosed fee.

Two days later, Kompany made his Manchester City debut against West Ham United.

And the rest was history for the belgian international who went on to captain manchester city .

For city Kompany won four Premier league titles , two FA cups , Four EFL cups and Two community shield tittles .

David Silva 

On 30 June 2010, Manchester City announced that they had reached an agreement with Valencia over the transfer of Silva and that he would join the club on a four-year deal, prior to the start of the 2010–11 season

Silva made his Premier League debut on 14 August 2010 in a 0–0 draw against Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane.
