Odenkirk was rushed to the hospital on Wednesday thanks to “a heart-related incident” while on set in New Mexico on Tuesday, consistent with a press release released to US media.
“We can confirm Bob is in stable condition… He and his family would really like to precise gratitude for the incredible doctors and nurses taking care of him,” it added.
The 58 years old actor was filming the finale season of the show during which he plays luckless protagonist Jimmy McGill, a small-time lawyer and conman who transitions to an eventually prominent defense lawyer under the name Saul Goodman.

Entertainment publication outlet within the states and TMZ said bob “went down” on set and was “immediately surrounded by crew members who called an ambulance.”

Bob has received four Emmy and Golden Globe nominations for best actor for “Better Call Saul” and has previously won two Emmys for writing on other productions.
“Better Call Saul” sixth season is predicted to premiere early next year.
