Australia east Coast region battered by flood

Australia east Coast region have been battered by life threatening floods as emergency authorities keeps warning resident in the region.

Resident of low- lying communities in new south wales have been ordered to evacuate the region as dozens of residents have been rescued from high raising flood waters.

According to police report, dozens of people have temporarily move to evacuation centers located in areas north of the city of sydney.

Footage has emerge ,as a house can be clearly seen been sweet away while major roads have been shut.

Australia East Coast Rainfall

According to report, Warragamba dam in Sydney, the city’s main water source, has begun to overflow for the first time since 2016, and WaterNSW warns others are also expected to spill over.

However , weather forecast also predict rainfall in sydney and other part of the city.

Bureau of Meteorology Agata Imielska have warned locals of the  intense rainfall and damaging winds, citing need for  the public to be aware of “dangerous conditions” that can change quite quickly.

In her speech , she advice locals against embarking on unnecessary travels, or heading out as it’s a good time to stay at home .

More storms are forecast for the coming days as australia should prepare for the next few days of heavy rainfall.
