Bayern Munich Star Sends Angry Message To Manchester United Over Captain Armband Tussle

Bayern Munich defender Alphonso Davies has voiced his disgust that Harry Maguire is Man United’s current captain over Cristiano Ronaldo.

In a Twitch stream where he was playing FIFA 22, Davies unlocked Maguire in an ultimate team card and it seemingly set him off.

He said: “Can you guys imagine. Can you guys imagine. You are Ronaldo… One of the greatest players ever. And whats his name is your captain? Harry Maguire is your captain?

“And you refer to him as ‘yes cap’. I don’t know what he says to him. Bro. I’m not dissing Harry Maguire but Ronaldo… Ronaldo should get the armband man.”

Maguire has been heavily criticized for failing to perform like a captain this season, putting in some really poor performances, and not being able to maintain his good form from the Euro 2020 last year.

Ronaldo is the current captain of the Portugal national team, but it seems like the Red Devils’ hierarchy are still satisfied enough to keep Maguire as the captain.
