Breaking: Man United Forward Dumped By His Wife After Lack Of Performance In The Upper Room

Anthony Martial has been dumped by his wife Melanie Da Cruz after having ups and downs in their marriage for years, claims the Daily Star.

The Frenchman and his partner have decided to split amicably and are likely to go ahead with divorce proceedings.

Melania posted a cryptic message on her Instagram recently, writing: “Sometimes to win a race you have to stop running,” perhaps an indication over their faltering relationship.

A source close to the situation told the Daily Star: “Things aren’t going brilliantly for Martial on the pitch and it looks like life at home has been rocky too. Melanie’s statement came as a shock to her fans and it’s probably the icing on the cake after a bad few months for Anthony. They’ve had their struggles. All they care about going forward is the well-being of their son and raising him amicably.”

Martial has been involved in quite a bit of controversy during his relationship with Melanie, as he had an affair with another woman when she was pregnant in 2019. He even reportedly continued sending explicit pictures to the woman for months after their son was born.

The woman, French model Malika Semichi, claimed that she met with Martial in a hotel to have sex. However, she was not impressed by his ‘performance’.

She said: “It was over pretty quickly. I was surprised because he seemed really in shape.”

The Frenchman is currently on loan at Sevilla and neither he nor Melanie have commented on their break-up yet.
