Christian Eriksen Returns To Training

Eriksen has However returned to the training facilities of Inter for the first time since suffering a cardiac arrest during Euro 2020.

The Danish midfielder was reunited with his teammates, club director and staff alongside new Inter boss Simone Inzaghi – who has replaced Antonio Conte in the hotseat this summer.

The player’s recovery process is being led by doctors from Copenhagen and the Inter medical staff are set to work in co-operation with their plan.

It remains unclear if the 29-year-old will be able to represent his club again and he is set to undergo multiple tests to determine whether he can safely take to the pitch.

It is unlikely that the player will be involved in first-team training anytime soon despite his return to the facilities, with a number of medical tests required first before proceeding

While a return to football with the Milanese giants has not been ruled out, that will not happen this calendar year and the best-case scenario would be a return to action in the second half of the campaign.
