Man United Make Decision Between Casemiro and Scot McTominay Who Should Be Starting

Casemiro has proven his quality for Man United in his last two appearances over the last week.

The Brazilian midfielder was given the Man of the Match award for his heroics in the win over Everton.

He was also excellent in the win over Omonia Nicosia and seems to have finally settled into life at Old Trafford.

With Scott McTominay suspended for the Newcastle United game, Casemiro looks set to start that as well.

Some Man United fans believe he should now be starting regularly over the Scotsman, as they reacted on Redcafe.

Bosnian_Red: “Think he makes an enormous difference when on the pitch. Has had his rusty moments which is understandable, but he shows for the ball constantly (McTominay does not), and plays it forward quickly (McTominay does not). Those 2 points are vital for us and he’ll sharpen up the sloppy moments he’s had as that’s just sharpness. But he’s on a different planet for our build up and on the ball compared to McTominay, as well as he has played this season.”

Varun: “Love how he doesn’t need more than 2 touches to get the ball moving. Similar to licha. It’s an underrated but vital part of their game.”

Abraxas: “The passing and reaction times are looking better now. Seems to be a player that takes a while to get going. Hopefully, he steers clear of niggling injuries as it might be a pain in the arse if it always takes him games to get to his level.”

RopersReturn: “He looks like he’s starting to settle in and has given two solid performances so far. The midfield seems to show signs of generally developing into a much stronger unit.”

Andycoleno9: “World class player. Showing us what we were missing last 10 years on that position.”

Croadyman: “Fully backing him but want to see him up against a decent midfield which will happen Sunday.”
