Just In: Why Elanga and Mason Greenwood Were Not In Man United’s Europa League Squad Finally Revealed

Manchester United officially confirmed their squad for the 2022/23 Europa League group stages on Monday.

Notably, Anthony Elanga and still-suspended Mason Greenwood were absent from the 25-man A-list submitted by the Red Devils.

However, it’s nothing to worry about. Europa League rules allow the players who are 21 years old or younger to be added to the club’s B-list later on.

Elanga and Greenwood (provided that the police clear him) will be named in that squad. The only requirement is for the player to have been at the club for two years.
