Speaking to talkSPORT, Erik ten Hag said: “I think we can compete with every team. Obviously, when Manchester City are at their best, it’s a hard opponent for everyone.
“But we have to play our best, then we have a chance. If we don’t, like at Man City, we don’t have a chance.
“It’s up to us to have a good team, the right co-operation, the right attitude. We need a winning attitude on Saturday.”
The first Manchester derby of the 2022/23 season, played at the Etihad Stadium back in early October, was won 6–3 by Pep Guardiola’s men.
However, things have taken a turn ahead of Saturday’s showdown at Old Trafford with just four points separating the two sides in the Premier League table.
