“He needs a goal to get over that point and I am confident he will get more goals. I wanted to see Cristiano and Marcus Rashford close together, and that is why we made our planned substitution of taking Antony off. Our substitutions were planned. We are confident going into the final game in what we have to do.”

Ronaldo had an eventful game, in which he was really involved in many of the attacks. He missed two huge chances in both halves, but then finally found the back of the net to score his third goal of the season for the Red Devils.
With Anthony Martial still struggling to recover from injury, it remains to be seen whether Cristiano can get a start against West Ham United at the weekend.
