Erik ten Hag Names 3 Things He Wants From Antony After Reading Match-Winning Performances

Erik ten Hag has praised Antony for his lively performance in Man United’s 3-1 win over Reading, but challenged him to improve certain aspects of his game.

The gaffer told ITV: “I think he’s growing. We want him to be more dynamic, variable and direct. Today was a lovely pass for the first goal.

“We are happy with his improvement in this moment. There’s big potential in him and he has to develop it every day.”

Antony provided the assist for Casemiro’s opening goal and caused quite a lot of havoc with his brilliant passes into the box. However, he also missed a few golden opportunities and saw some shots go awfully wide.

The Brazilian winger seems to be improving after receiving some harsh criticism as of late and will hope to keep this up in the decisive final months of the season.
