Erik ten Hag Told Manchester United Players To Sell If He Takes Over Including Cristiano Ronaldo
Cristiano Ronaldo has left some figures at Old Trafford unimpressed after his poor performance in Man United’s 0-1 loss to Everton.
According to the Daily Mail, there are some ‘senior figures’ at United that feel that the Portuguese forward should be encouraged to leave the club next summer.
There is a belief that Cristiano might struggle to play under Erik ten Hag’s system which demands a high-pressing style and players to be full of energy.

Cristiano himself could be tempted to leave if unable to secure Champions League qualification as well. However, the final decision will be made by Joel Glazer and the board of directors.
Ten Hag reportedly wants the power to decide which United players should be sold. If he takes over and is unimpressed by Ronaldo’s work, the Dutchman could also potentially ask him to be sold.
The Portuguese forward is still the highest-scoring player for the Red Devils with 18 goals across all competitions this season.
