Erik ten Hag is keen on bringing Robin van Persie on board in his coaching staff if he becomes the next Man United manager, claims the Mirror.
He’s already spoken to the Dutchman about being part of his backroom staff and helping him do the best job possible at Old Trafford.
Ten Hag wants someone with extensive knowledge of the club and knows that Van Persie is still a liked figure at United.
But the former striker is currently the U16s manager at PSV and is working on his coaching badges.
Ten Hag is reportedly the top candidate for the United job and is currently waiting on the Red Devils to make him a proper offer to become their next manager.
