Speaking on Cristiano Ronaldo’s untimely exit from Man United, Christian Eriksen said: “First of all, we are sad that Ronaldo is not part of it – his legacy and his name at any club is special.
“For me to be fortunate to play with him in my career was very nice. But the football goes on. You feel that the next game after, people will forget what it was like before and now our focus is really like he is not here.”

The Red Devils were forced to terminate Ronaldo’s contract after he slandered the club and disrespected manager Erik ten Hag in his shocking interview with Piers Morgan.
The Portuguese forward is still a free agent, but is likely to join Saudi Arabia club Al Nassr in January. United are still looking for a new forward to replace him and hope to sign one next month.
