Bruno Fernandes Finally Reveals How Long He Wants To Stay At Manchester United

“Being a kid in Portugal, watching the Premier League and watching the club, it was always a dream to come to the Theatre of Dreams, Old Trafford, and to experience that,” Bruno Fernandes told MUTV.

“I want to be here for many years. I want to have some stability for my family.

“We like to be here, we like to be in this country, we want to have the family established here and the kids growing up here, having their friends, being happy. That’s the most important thing for us.”

The Portuguese midfielder arrived in Manchester in January 2020 and won two Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year in the first 18 months at the club.

His goalscoring form fell off last season, but he remains a regular starter for Erik ten Hag. This season, he has started every game for United, except the Europa League defeat to Real Sociedad.

His current deal runs until 2026 with a one-year extension option. If that will be triggered, Bruno will have played for United until he’s about to turn 33 years old.
