Breaking: Erik ten Hag Makes Final Decision On Cristiano Ronaldo’s Man United Future On Deadline Day
There have been controversial reports over Erik ten Hag’s thinking concerning Cristiano Ronaldo’s future at Man United.
Multiple sources have claimed that the Dutch coach was warming to the idea of letting the Portuguese go as the transfer window went by.
However, as The Athletic reports, Ten Hag has also made an effort to convince Ronaldo to stay and make a success out of his second spell at Old Trafford.
Speaking to the 37-year-old, the boss reminded him that he flourished under coaches as different as Carlo Ancelotti and Jose Mourinho – and challenged him to thrive now as well.

Ten Hag has repeatedly made the case to Ronaldo that even if he isn’t a guaranteed starter, the forward will play an important role for the Red Devils this season.
The transfer window is not over yet but, unless Jorge Mendes performs a miracle in the next 24 hours, Ronaldo will have no choice but to try and make it work at United despite the lack of Champions League football.
