Bundesliga giants broke the sad news as the world cup winner kicks the bucket at 75 .
In a post on social media, the German club said ” Moment the world of FC Bayern stands still.

Muller is universally recognised as one of the top strikers in history thanks to his fertile record both with Bayern and the German civil company.
In total, he scored 68 times for the civil side, in just 62 matches helping them to the European Championship in 1972 and the World Cup two periods thereafter.
But it was at Bayern where his name was fabricated as one of the most fearsome forwards in world football.
After inking in 1964, the man affectionately known as “ Der Bomber” marauded a remarkable 566 ideas in 607 competitive games for the club.
During his time at Bayern, he won four Bundesliga titles, three European Mugs and a European Cup Winners ’ Cup medallion.
He was awarded the Ballon d’Or in 1970 after scoring a like ridiculous 10 ideas during the 1970 World Cup in Brazil.

His 14 strikes during World cups was a record that stretched all the way from 1974 to 2006, before Brazilian striker Ronaldo bettered the count, only for it to return to Germany through Miroslav Klose in 2014.
Following the news of his end, Bayern president Herbert Hainer said “ Moment is a sad, black day for FC Bayern and all of its aficionados.
“ Gerd Müller was the top striker there has ever been-and a fine person, a personality in world football. We’re united in deep dolor with his madam Uschi and his family.
“ Without Gerd Müller, FC Bayern would not be the club we all love moment. His name and the memory of him will live on continually. ”
Oliver Kahn, the current CEO of the Bundesliga titleholders added “ The news of Gerd Müller’s death affects us all deeply.
“ He’s one of the maximum legends in the history of FC Bayern, his achievements are unmatched to this day and will continually be part of the great history of FC Bayern and all of German football.
“ As a player and as a person, Gerd Müller stands like no other for FC Bayern and its development into one of the largest clubs in the world. Gerd will be in our hearts continually. “
