Glazers Finally Reveal When They Will Complete Manchester United Sale After Repeated Pressure

BBC reports that Man United could have new owners by the end of the 2022/23 season.

Last week, the Glazer family confirmed they were exploring ‘strategic alternatives’ for the club which could include its sale. It is not certain that a sale would take place at all, though.

The takeover would not happen at the right price which is thought to be over £3.05bn, United’s valuation on the New York Stock Exchange.

The Glazers were in charge of United since May 2005 after they completed a £790m leveraged buyout and loaded a £550m debt on the club.

Since then, United spent more than £1bn on interest, loan payments, and share dividends from which the Glazers benefitted immensely.
