Harriet Robson made her return to social media on Thursday after accusing Mason Greenwood of rape and assault.

The 22-year-old wrote on Instagram: I’m grateful to everyone that has sent messages of support and engagement. Thank you.

“The last few days have been very difficult and I’m taking a break social media while the police make their investigations.”

The Manchester United striker was arrested on Sunday after Robson posted damning photo and audio evidence of his actions on Instagram.

The 20-year-old was then ‘further arrested on suspicion of sexual assault and threats to kill’ before being released on bail on Wednesday.
