“Eden does not want to leave Real Madrid but if the president wants him to leave because he knows that he won’t have more opportunities to play, then I doubt he will stay,” Kylian Hazard, Eden’s brother, has told RTBF.
There have been reports that the Whites will try to sell Eden Hazard this summer, although it could prove a difficult task because of the player’s new injury. The 31-year-old’s contract at the club runs until 2024.
Hazard wasn’t a particularly important player at Madrid during the 2021/22 season, playing 22 matches and just nine of them from the start. He contributed with a goal and two assists.
Meanwhile, there have been rumors of the former Chelsea star returning to the Premier League next season. However, it is not yet clear where his destination might be. Although a possible return to Chelsea has been muted, other sources have linked the 31-year-old with moves to Arsenal and West Ham United.
