Lingard Makes Final Decision On His Man United Future Despite Rangnick’s Assurances

Jesse Lingard is ‘ready to quit’ Manchester United in search of regular game time during the ongoing winter transfer window, reports the Daily Mirror.

The Englishman hasn’t started a single Premier League game this season, despite scoring twice off the bench. Even under Ralf Rangnick, Jesse hasn’t gotten enough opportunities to play.

As a result, the 29-year-old is finally willing to exit his boyhood club and possibly join West Ham, where he scored nine goals and assisted four times during a six-month loan last season.

Lingard’s contract expires at the end of June, meaning he can only be sold on a cut-price fee this month. It’s either that or losing him for free in the summer.

Despite being linked with an exit last summer, Lingard opted to stay at Old Trafford as he felt ‘his heart is still’ in Manchester.
