Harvey Elliott Suffers Horrific Injury
Struijk was given his match order in the 60th minutes as he was shown a straight red card by the referee for his horrific tackle on harvey elliott .
Elliott was taken out of the field with help of a strecher as the Youngstar was meet with a clapping ovation from the home and away team fans at elland road stadium.
After the match Speaking to Sky after the final whistle Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that Harvey Elliott suffered a dislocated ankle and has been taken to hospital.
Jurgen Klopp on Harvey Elliott injury: “It’s a bad injury. Ankle – it was dislocated and it has now been put back. He is now in the hospital…”.
“We will play football without him, but we will wait for him”, Klopp added.
It is yet unknown the severity of the injury as no time frame have been annouced by the medic for harvey returns as the Youngstar is to under go more scan test and his been side line until further notice.
