Harry Maguire Finally Breaks Silence On Cristiano Ronaldo’s Situation After Contract Termination

Speaking about the criticism he’s received over the last year or so, Harry Maguire said: “As a footballer nobody likes being criticized but I think it’s part and parcel of the game.

“I’ve played with Cristiano Ronaldo for the last couple of years and he’s one of the greatest players to ever kick a football.

“He gets criticized daily, so if it’s going to happen to him and the position I’m in playing for Manchester United, it’s going to happen to each and every one of us. You’ve just got to work hard, go into training, do your best and that’s all you can do”

Maguire played with Ronaldo for just over a season at Old Trafford, but will not be able to do so anymore after the Portuguese forward’s contract was terminated.

Harry is focused on helping England go all the way at the World Cup and will be intent on helping them defeat the USA on Friday.
