Harry Maguire has seemingly hit back at recent leaks that hinted he had a strained relationship with David de Gea at Man United and that he was feeling victimized at the club.
He said after England’s loss to Italy: “I am not concentrating on anybody else and what people are saying, I think if people can make a story about me, I am Manchester United captain, it is going to make big news.
“So, that is the reason they do it, they like the clicks, and things like that, but I went into the Euros after an eight-week injury, and did not play one game, and got into the team of the tournament.

“In terms of rustiness, and things like that, I am sure that won’t happen.”
Maguire seems to be annoyed by the criticism he’s getting but is focused on regaining his regular place in the Man United starting XI.
With Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane having built up a formidable partnership, it’ll take something special for the Englishman to get back into the line-up.
