What Man City Owner and United’s Avram Glazer Discussed In Their Meeting In Dubai Finally Revealed

Mansoor bin Mohammed and Avram Glazer had a meeting in Dubai on Thursday to discuss a potential partnership.

The Manchester City owner and the Manchester United co-chairman seemingly spoke about the Glazer’s investment in the United Arab Emirates’ sports.

Sheikh Mansour said: “We discussed ways to work together to further raise Dubai’s profile as a global sporting hub. We also discussed the UAE T20 league, featuring Man United’s cricket team.”

Avram Glazer purchased one of the six teams of the maiden T20 league, which is set to start from 2023. However, according to the BBC, the new cricket franchise will be unrelated to Man United, ‘other than through common ownership’.
