Just In: Kylian Mbaape Sends Message To Marcus Rashford After England’s World Cup Exit

Kylian Mbappe has sent his best wishes to Marcus Rashford following England’s World Cup exit on Saturday.

France defeated the Three Lions 2-1 to advance to the last four where they will face Morocco.

In a post on Instagram, Rashford said: “The last few weeks have been a rollercoaster of emotions, each and every one of our team gave everything we had to be ready for what was thrown at us, we got close, but not close enough.

“I’ll make a promise that we will come again! Thank you for the unconditional support.”

The post drew several responses among them was a heart emoji posted by opponent Mbappe – a sign of respect for his peer.

Rashford had a strong tournament, scoring three goals for England, his first at a World Cup.

He is now due back for Manchester United, ahead of the Premier League campaign resuming on December 27 at Old Trafford against Nottingham Forest.
