New offer for Cristiano Ronaldo as Saudi Arabia joins bid

Manchester United forward, Cristiano Ronaldo has been offered a huge financial deal to join an unnamed Saudi Arabian side in the summer, claims CNN Portugal.

The Portuguese forward has been promised wages of €250m (£210m) in a two-year contract if he joins them – making him the highest-paid footballer by quite a distance.

Moreover, Man United will also receive a €30m (£25m) transfer fee for the deal.

The unnamed Saudi club has also offered his agent £20m in agent fees to get the deal done.

Cristiano is still trying to negotiate an exit from Old Trafford, but no major club has shown willingness to sign him.

However, there are speculations that Barcelona consider him an option if their bid to sign Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski stalls.

Also, Bayern Munich might likely consider signing the 5 times Ballon d’Or winner if Lewandowski exit the German club.

So far, there’s no deal on the table and no talks in ongoing. Manchester United apparently do not want to sell him yet but are likely not to say no to a good offer.
