Rashford Reveals The Reason Why He Was Benched Against Wolves After Coming On To Score The Winner
Speaking to BT Sport after the Wolves win, Marcus Rashford admitted that Erik ten Hag benched him for being late to a team meeting.
“I was a little bit late for the meeting. I slept in, I overslept,” the forward said.

He added: “It’s the team rules. It’s a mistake that can happen. Obviously disappointed not to play but I understand the decision.”
Rashford remained on the bench for the first half but was introduced after the break and ended up scoring Man United’s only goal in the 1-0 win.
