Cristiano Ronaldo has taken to Instagram to post an update following a solo training session at Manchester United today. Alongside a photo of him wearing inflatable recovery sleeves on his legs, he wrote in “we continue”.
The story image was captioned in Ronaldo’s native Portuguese with the single word ‘continuamos’. A suggestion that Ronaldo is ready to return to the first-team after being banished by Erik Ten Hag.

The Portuguese walked away from Old Trafford on Wednesday against Tottenham with the game still in progress. His manager said he refused to play a part in the 2-0 victory.
Ronaldo won’t be involved in Saturday’s clash with Chelsea. Speaking ahead of the game, Ten Hag said: “I am the manager, I am responsible for top spot culture here and I have to set standards and values and I have to control them”.
