Breaking: Cristiano Ronaldo Set To Complete 7-Year Big-Money Transfer After Leaving Man United

Cristiano Ronaldo’s big-money move to Al-Nassr is a done deal, according to Marca, a tier-one Spanish source.

The Portuguese will sign a 7-year contract with the Saudi side: the first two-and-a-half years as a player and the rest as an official ambassador.

Saudi Arabia are bidding to host the 2030 World Cup bid and having Cristiano as the face of the operation could boost their chances of securing the rights to host the tournament.

Ronaldo terminated his contract at Manchester United last month with both sides announcing that the outcome was reached ‘by mutual consent’. The 37-year-old’s European chapter appears to be over.

Earlier, the Portuguese has been spotted arriving at the Riyadh airport in Saudi Arabia ahead of transfer talks with Al-Nassr club chiefs, reports Transfer News Live.

The 37-year-old travelled alone amid his search for a new club after a rather unceremonious exit from Manchester United.

Several European big-wigs have rejected Jorge Mendes’ approaches to sign his client, with the main sticking point being his massive wages.

Meanwhile, Italian journalist Rudy Galetti has claimed that Ronaldo will evaluate the contract on offer from the Saudi side.

However, he will move to Al-Nassr only if his partner Georgina Rodriguez and children are convinced of the environment, atmosphere and standards of living.
