Antonio Rudiger has now won the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, and FIFA Club World Cup with Chelsea over the last year. However, he has still not extended his deal at the club.

Asked to comment on his future, Rudiger told The Athletic: “I feel great here, I have always said it. I think the way I play you can see that I’m happy here. But there are also other people who have to make decisions.”

He added: “Of course, I want to win the Premier League.”

“Does it keep getting better and better for me at Chelsea? Yes. We had never won this trophy (FIFA Club World Cup) in Chelsea’s history before. I’m very delighted that we didn’t give up, that we did our thing. We tried everything and won.”

The 28-year-old had been offered around £140,000 to stay back in August and he rejected the deal.

However, The Athletic add that there’s ‘still positivity’ regarding an extension – it was earlier reported that Rudiger wants salary in the region of £225,000-a-week to remain at Stamford Bridge.
