Sanwo olu on lekki deep seaport in lekki ft zone
Lekki deep seaport in the ft zone to commence by 2023 according to lagos state governor , His Excellency Governor babajide sanwo olu.
My sanwo olu disclosed this after holding talks with the group who are to commence work and state holders in the states.
The governor was glad to hear from the Tolaram Group today, Announced that commercial operations at the Lekki Deep Seaport in Lekki FT Zone will begin by the first quarter of 2023.

He commended all stakeholders that are with the Government in the journey so far . With the level of work we have seen, I’m truly glad.

It is more gratifying that we are taking up this assignment with all the energy required and we can all see what can be achieved when we work together.
On completion, the port will have the capacity to berth 18,000 TEU vessels and will significantly reduce the cost of container transportation from any part of the world.
I am convinced that the delivery of this project will transform the commercial architecture of West Africa and bring about a quick turnaround in the maritime sector.
Lagosians will be the beneficiaries of this project as the seaport is expected to generate 170,000 direct and indirect job opportunities for residents and serve as an alternative in an effort to decongest the FG owned seaports in Apapa.
Sanwo olu continues to strengthen lagos state in various aspect , as his administration are setting standard for others to follow.
Ever Since coming on board , the ever green Governor has hitted the ground running with numerous projects been commissioned , while many are still under progress.
The lekki deep seaport further alight that sanwo olu is serious with business.
