Save The Children Charity Releases Statement Against Cristiano Ronaldo After He Smashed Young Fan’s Phone

According to The Sun, Save the Children, one of Britain’s leading charities, has distanced itself from Cristiano Ronaldo who was known to be its ambassador.

“Cristiano Ronaldo has been a supporter of Save the Children’s work for impoverished families around the world,” Save the Children said in a statement

“He has not worked with Save the Children since July 2018 and is no longer a Save the Children ambassador.”

The attention to Ronaldo’s charity work was drawn after he was accused of ‘assaulting’ a young Everton fan after the game at Goodison Park on Saturday.

Police have opened an investigation, while the fan’s mother has slammed Ronaldo for what she claims to be a ‘rude’ apology attempt.
