Ten Hag Finally Reveals What He Will Do To Ronaldo For Leaving The Stadium Before The Match Ended

Cristiano Ronaldo walked down the tunnel to the dressing room before the end of the game against Tottenham today. Manchester United were 2-0 up yet the Portuguese departed the game before the final whistle.

With Ronaldo benched by Erik ten Hag, United put up a commanding display. Goals from Fred and Bruno Fernades sealed maximum points for the hosts.

However, despite the strong showing Ronaldo walked away with the game still on. Ten Hag used three substitutions but didn’t call on the 37-year-old who had scored 14 goals against Spurs.

It isn’t the first time, though, Ronaldo left his teammates with a game still on. During pre-season, he, alongside other United stars, departed Old Trafford before the end of friendly with Rayo Vallecano.

Erik ten Hag says he will deal with Cristiano Ronaldo’s early exit from Old Trafford in today’s game against Tottenham. Ronaldo walked down the tunnel to the dressing room before the end of the game.

“I will deal with that tomorrow, not today. We are now celebrating this victory”, the Dutchman said after the 2-0 victory.

Speaking further, he sad, “To be fair, I didn’t expect it before because Spurs have played really well this season, every performance has been good. I thought before we needed to be really good to win and we were, it was a magnificent performance and I hope we set a new base.”
