Just In: Erik ten Hag Makes Final Decision on Harry Maguire’s Transfer To Aston Villa After Limited Role

Manchester United are unfazed about the latest Harry Maguire to Aston Villa links after the captain was spotted in Birmingham over the weekend, reports Samuel Luckhurst.

Luckhurst cites sources close to Maguire and the club and claims these rumours were simply ‘laughed off’ by both parties.

In fact, Harry simply popped into Birmingham to play golf at The Belfry and his visit had nothing to do with Villa or any other side.

The English center-back, who had a great World Cup campaign, has struggled to replicate his form at Old Trafford.

However, Erik ten Hag has shown no desire to sell him so far. And Maguire ‘expects’ to stay at United for the foreseeable future.

Luckhurst notes that after starting against Bournemouth, the defender could get another start when United face Charlton Athletic on Tuesday.
