According to Spanish media outlet Fichajes, Erik ten Hag has singled out three Man United players for criticism for their performances against Liverpool.
One is Antony, the player who has still failed to impress since completing an £85m move in the summer. On Sunday, he barely contributed up front and did not help out his teammates at the back either.
Another is Fred who was especially disappointing on the ball. Not that he shone defensively, either.
Finally, Diogo Dalot had a nightmare on the right side of United’s defence, struggling against the movement of Darwin Nunez and Cody Gakpo.

The report claims that these three players are in danger of being discarded by Ten Hag and even sold in the summer – although it would be very hard for United to get rid of Antony just one year after the signing.
It’s worth pointing out that Fichajes is not the most reliable media outlet out there. If anything, Ten Hag is very likely to not single out any player from that game, considering that none of them covered themselves in glory.
