Erik ten Hag Names Man United Defenders Available For Nottingham Forest Premier League Game
”Returning from Rapha Varane and Licha Martinez, they are not there [back at United] but we hope on their comeback [soon],” Erik ten Hag told a press conference ahead of the Nottingham Forest game.
“We had some problems with an illness like Harry Maguire, but he was back on the training pitch today so I’m happy with that.”

It looks like Maguire will be playing alongside Victor Lindelof at center-back on Tuesday night, a callback to the most frequent partnership of the Ole Gunnar Solskjaer era. They haven’t played together in the Premier League this season, though.
Varane and Martinez were always unlikely to play for United just over a week after the World Cup final, so this was the most likely solution. Still, having a not fully fit Maguire in the lineup is not ideal.
