Erik ten Hag Names One Man United Player That Helped The Team Get a Win Against Aston Villa

Speaking about his thoughts on Man United’s 1-0 win over Aston Villa, Erik ten Hag said: “First half was a really good, focused start to the game.

“We were totally in control. In possession, I think we played very well. We had some really good chances. Second half maybe wasn’t as good as the first half, but we were determined to take it over the line.

“Today this was the Casemiro we have seen all season. His leadership is so important for us. Others go with him, he is example.”

Casemiro produced an impressive performance from midfield, winning many key duels and also creating chances for the Red Devils.

He even struck the bar in the first half and commanded things from midfield, troubling the visitors all game long. The Brazilian recovered well from a mediocre showing against Tottenham Hotspur and appears to be back to his best.
