Rio Ferdinand Names The Better Manager Between Ralf Rangnick & Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

Giving his verdict on the job Ralf Rangnick has done with Man United since replacing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after their loss to Arsenal, Rio Ferdinand told BT Sport: “Manchester United had an opportunity to get back in this game, woodwork etc and missed a penalty.

“They had them there for the taking Arsenal, but Manchester United didn’t smell blood. Big moments come up in games and you need to take them, and they didn’t have that in them today to take it.

“They are in a bad run of form. Being brutally honest Ralf Rangnick’s come in and it’s got worse since Ole [Gunnar Solskjaer] left.

“Yeah, there’s no way United are going to get in the top four now, there’s no chance.”

Rangnick has not been able to improve United’s fortunes this season, as the players have not been able to improve their performances or maintain any winning consistency since he took over.

Ralf will leave his role as the interim manager at the end of the season, with Erik ten Hag set to take over from him.
