“It started and ended in the first half,” Thomas Tuchel told a press conference when asked whether the reports about his heated exchange with Marcos Alonso.
“We didn’t continue at half-time. There was nothing else and things were solved. It happens.”
It was reported earlier that Alonso was subbed off at half-time against Wolves after a bust-up with Tuchel in the dressing room. It was suggested that the Spaniard would no longer play for Chelsea.
“It’s not the moment to point fingers on the players, to be harsh and too demanding, to overdo it,” Tuchel added.
“Everybody wants to finish the season on a positive note. There is a lot to play for.”
