UK Government Makes Final Decision On Chelsea’s Restriction To Sell Tickets For Matches

The UK government has allowed Chelsea Football Club to sell some tickets.

The club will be allowed to sell tickets to Chelsea’s quarter-final game in the Champions League against Real Madrid. They will also be allowed to sell tickets to their FA Cup semi-final against Crystal Palace.

Away fans will be able to buy tickets to Chelsea games but home fans will not be allowed to buy new tickets to Premier League games. Chelsea has been issued a license to function as a club in a limited way and with strict limitations on commercial ventures.

None of the cash from these ticket sales will go to the club. The proceeds from tickets being sold for the FA Cup game will go to the competition organizers.
