Manchester United Finally Told To Make Prompt Decision On Paul Pogba’s Future

Speaking to Football Insider, former Leeds forward Noel Whelan said: “Paul Pogba has put himself in this position with his performances for Manchester United. He’s been awful for a long time now.

“There have been flashes where he’s seemed to be that quality player they spent all the money on. Bar that, he’s been quite average. Look, he’s not done enough to stay at Man United. If they can get some money in January, perfect.

“The changing room will be better off without him in there. Man United need different characters at the club now to stride forward and be successful. And Ralf Rangnick knows that.”

Pogba is currently sidelined with a major hamstring injury and the 28-year-old is not expected to return to first-team training until February.

The Frenchman has featured in 13 games across all competitions for Man United so far this season, failing to score a goal but providing seven assists.
