2 Man United Players Called Up To Latest England Squad As Rashford & 1 Top Star Miss Out
Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw have been included in the England squad for the upcoming games against Switzerland and Ivory Coast.
As expected, Marcus Rashford missed out on being selected after a series of disastrous display for Manchester United. However, Jadon Sancho’s omission is surprising.
Gareth Southgate said: “It’s a difficult time for Rashford, he’s clearly not at his best. We know a lot of about Marcus anyway, we know what he can bring to us and hopefully he can rediscover that form we know he’s capable of.”

On Maguire, the England head coach added: “I don’t think it ever crossed our minds not to select Harry, he’s been a key part of the starting XI. There’s no doubt in my mind that he’s one of our best center-backs.”
