Donny van de Beek Finally Breaks Silence After Everton Rescued Him From Old Trafford

Speaking during his first interview as an Everton player, Donny van de Beek said: “I want to show my qualities, my strengths, to the people in England.

“But especially the fans from Everton. I’m fit. I train a lot for myself and I was training a lot with the team at Manchester United.”

Van de Beek joined Everton on loan until the end of the 2021/22 season on transfer deadline day after an abysmal year-and-a-half at Old Trafford.

There’s no buyout option in the agreement and the Dutchman will return to Old Trafford in June 2022 when his long-term future at the club will be assessed.

The 24-year-old is cup-tied in the FA Cup and could make his Everton debut in the Premier League against Newcastle on Tuesday, February 8.
