According to the Daily Mirror, Manchester United are planning to unveil Erik ten Hag as our new manager in the next 48 hours.
The Red Devils play the final game of the season against Crystal Palace later this Sunday, marking Ralf Rangnick’s last fixture as interim boss.
Ten Hag is already in England and has discussed his plans for the summer transfer window over the past three days.
He will watch the Palace clash from the stands before traveling to Manchester for an official welcome ceremony either on Monday or Tuesday.
The Dutchman is reportedly ‘anxious’ to conclude mapping United’s transfer strategy as he wants to spend time analyzing which members of the current squad fit his plans.
Ten Hag will arrive with Mitchell van der Gaag as his No.2. Steve McClaren, who was Sir Alex Ferguson’s assistant coach, has also been confirmed as part of Erik’s coaching staff.
