Why Chelsea Trustees Yet To Agree To Run Club After Abramovich’s Statement Finally Explained

Despite Roman Abramovich’s statement that he hands over the stewardship and care of Chelsea, the club’s charitable foundation have not yet agreed to take control, according to BBC and The Telegraph.

As per the sources, there are concerns about whether they would be allowed to run the club in accordance with the Charity Commission rules.

Some of the trustees are also worried about the possibility of acting as a front for the real owner, who of course remains Abramovich.
