Manchester United defender, Alex Telles has revealed the reason behind his season long loan term to Spanish club Sevilla.
Obviously, it is a move he most likely dreamed of as he stands a chance to play at the UEFA Champions League competition, the defender made this confession in a recent interview ahead of the commencement of the 22/23 La Liga season.
Telles arrived at Old Trafford two years ago, but has struggled to nail down a first-team spot with Luke Shaw often preferred in his position.
The arrival of Tyrell Malacia this summer, has now seen the fullback leave for more playing minutes.
“I’m very happy to be at this great club. From the first moment I got the message to come here I didn’t think twice.
“I’m ready and prepared for this important week in which La Liga begins,” Telles told Estadio Deportivo.
The LaLiga club finished fourth last season and will play in the Champions League, while Telles’ parent club has to settle for the Europa League after a poor sixth place finish.
