Erik ten Hag Reveals Why Man United Are Too Dependent On Marcus Rashford

Speaking to the reporters about the Brentford game, Erik ten Hag said: “Are we too dependent on Marcus Rashford? Yeah, it’s the truth.

“But also we know other players can score as well: Bruno Fernandes, Antony scored a couple of goals, Jadon Sancho can score, Marcel Sabitzer can score.

“We have many more players who can score. What you want as a squad is that you have two players who can score more than 12 or 15 goals a season.”

Rashford scored the only goal of the game in the 1–0 win against Brentford on Wednesday to keep Manchester United firmly in control of the top-four race.

The 25-year-old forward remains the Red Devils’ most dangerous player, scoring 27 goals in 46 games across all competitions so far this season.
