Wolves Coach Attacks Chelsea Player After Penalty Incident – Calls Him Names For His Size

Wolves coach Tony Roberts who was in charge of the team while Bruno Lage is self-isolating has slammed Romelu Lukaku for falling too easily in Wolves’ box to win a penalty.

“If they’re getting penalties for that these days… I couldn’t believe it. It’s another one of them,” Roberts said, as per the Birmingham Mail.

“When it goes to VAR, you know it’s a penalty. I didn’t think it was a penalty, but that’s just my opinion.

“He’s a big lump, isn’t he?” Roberts added referring to Lukaku. “For him to go down it obviously takes something, but it didn’t look like anything.”

In fairness, there’s not much Lukaku could do after Romain Saiss kicked him in the leg, so it’s hard to understand where the controversy is.

Unfortunately, that’s a rather moot point since Chelsea managed to squander their lead and dropped two points in a winnable game.
